SINCE 1988.

The vineyard.

The Klosterkeller Siegendorf winery has been managed by Weinkellerei Lenz Moser since 1988.

The Siegendorf vineyard enjoys a remarkable location with a slight gradient to the south-southwest and more than 600 rows of vertically aligned vines planted according to the Lenz Moser high training system. By Austrian standards, its 24-hectare size (approximately 2,000 metres long by 70-150 metres wide) is unique. The vineyard extends over two contiguous single vineyards (“Riede”) known as Dora Dülö and Urasagi Puszta.

Wine quality.

As is widely known, the quality of wine depends on the vineyard – and maintaining that quality calls for expertise in the wine cellar. Lenz Moser undertakes the vinification of wines in Rohrendorf, a process overseen by chief oenologist Ing. Michael Rethaller.
